A collaborate project with industrial designer Claire Bryan working with Detroiters Working For Environmental Justice (DWEJ). This educational recycling experience was created to achieve DWEJ’s goals of expanding recycling to all Detroiters and inspiring them to love to do it.
The recycle bus is an educational program and mobile recycling facility that travels to different schools throughout Detroit. Students, through an in-class curriculum and weekly filed trips to the recycle bus, learn the correct way to recycle and how it positively impacts the world. Through this hands-on learning experience, young children are able to actively learn about recycling and then take this knowledge home to their families and inspire change there.
